VALLEY FORGE, Pa. – The PCU Internet Banking platform from credit union data processor USERS Inc. now serves more than one million credit union members nationwide, according to the company. There now are 200 credit unions using PCU Internet Banking as in-house or ASP solutions and USERS attributes the growth to several factors, including credit unions switching to PCU at the same time as they switch to USERS’ core system, as well as current USERS clients converting from a third-party provider to PCU, and the rise in adoption rates by credit union members themselves. “Home banking continues to be the `must-have’ service among credit union members – turning the dream of anytime, anywhere access into a reality,” says Randy Riesenberg, vice president of product services at USERS, which launched its Internet banking platform back in 1998. The Fiserv unit has about 325 core processing clients.
