HARRISBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania Secretary of Banking WilliamSchenck will be the keynote speaker at the Credit Union DevelopmentConference on May 8 that will be held at the Four Points SheratonPittsburgh North in Pennsylvania. The event is sponsored by theNCUA, CUNA Mutual Group, Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU, and thePennsylvania Credit Union Association. The theme for the one-dayconference is "Small Credit Unions Can Succeed," and a spokespersonfor Schenck said his keynote will focus on issues specific to smallcredit unions and how the banking department can be helpful tosmall CUs. Schenk also intends to leave sufficient time for aninteractive, question and answer period. The conference will alsofeature six breakout sessions on small credit union relevanttopics.
