SAN DIEGO – San Diego Metropolitan Credit Union has teamed up with the City of San Diego Water Department and Clear Channel Outdoor to post a local student's work of art on a billboard throughout the month of March. The billboard, showcased a poster by Olivia Ching, a 6th grade student at Francis Parker Elementary School designed to promote water conservation. The annual Water Conservation Poster contest challenges first through sixth grade students and teachers from City of San Diego public and private schools, to think about how we use our limited supply of water and the simple changes we can make in our daily life to save water. "We're so pleased to have been involved with this project," said Stuart Camblin, SDMCU president. "As a member of the local corporate community, sponsoring a billboard was an easy way to show our support for preserving one of our most important natural resources."
