ANCHORAGE, Alaska – In a move designed to not only provide much needed space but also promote efficiency, Credit Union 1 has announced plans to start building a new five-story headquarters here. To be built by Boslough Construction Inc. and designed by RIM Architects, the 54,000 square-foot building will include a four-lane drive-up, 24-hour ATM and other state-of-the-art technology. In addition, the new facility will house a certified childcare facility and all administrative offices, which are currently split between two branches.
