DENVER – David Maus, president/CEO of Public Service CU since 1981 – one of the largest credit unions in Colorado – has been elected the new chairman for CU Direct Connect, also known as CUILA LLC, a CUSO owned by 38 Colorado credit unions and which has 22 additional CU partners in Colorado and Wyoming. CUILA's product offering includes indirect lending, insurance, home mortgage, and real estate services. Maus has worked in the credit union industry for more than 30 years and has served on 11 different CU-related boards and associations, including CUNA, the Colorado Credit Union System, Credit Union Service Network, and the Colorado Credit Union League.
