In November 2003, two credit unions – Security Service FCU, SanAntonio, Texas, and Navy FCU, Vienna, Va. – ranked among the top 30auto lenders in the U.S. In addition, Citizens Equity First CU wasin first place in Peoria County, Ill, with a 24% share of all autosfinanced in December. Also in December 2003, America First FCU,Riverdale, Utah was the leading auto financer for the entire state– the credit union held a 12% share, almost twice that of thesecond place lender, Wells Fargo Auto Finance.
