MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. – Cavion Plus says it has enhanced the reliability of the Internet and private network connection between the company's data center in Denver and its credit union clients through ISDN Redundancy. A recent audit of the Cavion Plus frame relay network found 99.9% up-time, however there are rare occasions where a primary circuit fails. To protect against these situations, ISDN Redundancy circumvents the primary circuit, via the ISDN voice network, ensuring continuity of service. According to Cavion Plus, in most cases, customers will not realize that anything is wrong, since the product is completely automated. "The product is designed to automatically reroute network traffic in the event of a primary circuit failure, and then revert the traffic back when the primary circuit is again operational," said Nathan Coltvet, Cavion Plus product manager. Cavion Plus was formed through the merger of Liberty Internet Services and CUNA Network Services last year.
