ABERDEEN, Md. – Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union's Education Department has joined forces with two area schools- Deerfield Elementary and Thomson Estates Elementary. As part of the arrangement, APGFCU staffers will provide class and individual mentoring, financial literacy information and financial education for the adult school community. “Supporting local schools is a priority for us,” said APGFCU President/CEO Don Lewis. “Through these partnerships our staff will deliver gifts of time, talent and treasure to positively impact the education and achievement of our community students especially in the area of financial literacy.”
