ABERDEEN, Md. – Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union'sEducation Department has joined forces with two area schools-Deerfield Elementary and Thomson Estates Elementary. As part of thearrangement, APGFCU staffers will provide class and individualmentoring, financial literacy information and financial educationfor the adult school community. “Supporting local schools is apriority for us,” said APGFCU President/CEO Don Lewis. “Throughthese partnerships our staff will deliver gifts of time, talent andtreasure to positively impact the education and achievement of ourcommunity students especially in the area of financialliteracy.”
