GLASTONBURY, Conn. – COCC has agreed to license and re-sell the electronic banking and cash management products of Open Solutions Inc. The agreement calls for COCC to operate OSI's electronic banking software system – called e-Commerce Banker – from COCC's data center in Avon, Conn. The deal deepens the relationship between COCC (formerly known as Connecticut On-Line) and OSI. COCC has just completed a conversion of its core processing operations for 125 credit unions and community banks to the OSI platform from an NCR legacy system. "We are confident that our e-Commerce Banker product will enhance COCC's already impressive ancillary product offering and create value for their clients," says Mike Nicastro, senior vice president and general manager of OSI's Strategic Solutions Group. "With Open Solutions' e-Commerce Banker, we can assure our clients that they have access to a scalable, flexible solution that will support their electronic banking initiatives – whether retail, business or both," says Richard Leone, COCC president and CEO.
