A look at the latest listing of the top 100 credit unions by assets shows pretty soon it might take a billion dollars in assets to crack the list. Last year at this time there were 65 CUs with over a billion dollars in the top 100, now it's 82 and the remaining 18 appear positioned to eclipse the billion-dollar mark by year-end 2004.
