MidWest Financial Credit Union and UMHS Financial, Ann Arbor, Mich., has collected 23 pints of blood for the American Red Cross. Employees and credit union members alike lined up to give the gift of life. Arizona Credit Union League, Phoenix, and 17 local credit unions have helped raised over $6,000 for the Credit Unions for Kids charity during the 11th annual ACUS Co-ed Softball Tournament. Funds raised benefited the Phoenix Children's Hospital and Tucson Medical Center. More than $6,000 was raised through team entry fees and the Credit Unions for Kids raffle. Orange County's Credit Union, Santa Ana, Calif. staffers recently lined up to join over 14,000 participants in this year's annual Children's Hospital of Orange County/Disneyland Resort "Walk in the Park". The OCCU team managed to raise over $2,200 during the event. A total of over $750,000 has been donated to the Children's Hospital of Orange County. Financial Resources Federal Credit Union, Bridgewater, N.J., has raised $25,000 during its 11th annual Golf Benefit for the ARC of Somerville's Camp Jontoni. Camp Jontoni is an organization for children who are at risk for learning disabilities.
