DENVER – SunCorp Senior Vice President of Operations Cyndi Koan has been appointed to the American Bankers Association's Routing Number Administrative Board. Koan, representing CUNA, will serve a three-year term on the board, which develops policy for the use of routing numbers, in both paper-based and electronic applications. The board is a separate ABA body, reporting to the ABA Executive Committee. The routing number was created by the ABA in 1910 to identify the financial institution responsible for the payment of a negotiable instrument. Koan has 20 years of financial experience. Her credit union experience includes the following: CEO at SunWest Educational Credit Union, Vice President/CFO at Public Service Credit Union, and Vice President of Finance and Support at Arizona Federal Credit Union.
