WASHINGTON-NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar will keynote the Fannie Mae Foundation's Access to Financial Services For Working Poor Families roundtable at the Capitol View Conference Center in Washington, D.C. Nov. 10. Dollar will discuss the success of NCUA's Access Across America initiative, which aims to provide broader access to financial services and economic empowerment in underserved areas. The foundation organized the roundtable to better understand the growth in the number of working poor families using non-traditional institutions for their financial services needs and to identify ways to more adequately serve their needs. The roundtable will consist of senior representatives from financial regulators, consumer interests groups, insured financial institutions, and alternative financial institutions.
