WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Following the resignation of ConstitutionState Corporate EVP Greg Gallant, the corporate named Bill White,manager of operations, as interim CEO. White has been with the $1billion corporate for 16 years and has made it known that he doesnot want the CEO job. Constitution's Board is currently in themidst of an executive search to find a new CEO. It is using searchfirm O'Rourke Career Connections. A few months ago the corporate'sCEO, David Addison, resigned to become CEO of Texans CU. Thespeculation was that Gallant, who was serving as interim CEO, wouldtake over for Addison, which now will not happen. Gallant was alsopresident of the corporate's CUSO, SmartSource Solutions. Whitewill take on that role as well on an interim basis. There is noword on Gallant's future career plans. “It's business as usualhere. I'm honored by the responsibility the board has placed in me,but in the end it's the experience of our staff and thesophisticated systems we have put in place that get the job donefor our members on a daily basis,” said White. With only 32corporates left, corporate CEO jobs are getting harder to comeby.
