HARRISBURG, Pa. – Fifty-eight attendees from 34 state-chartered credit unions in Pennsylvania attended a `Pennsylvania State-Chartered Credit Union Symposium' sponsored by the state Banking Department on Sept. 30. The event was held at the agency's headquarters in Harrisburg. Among the speakers at the symposium were Pennsylvania Credit Union Association's John Kilduff, AVP, Compliance & Information, and Cathy Keith, Account Executive. Kilduff discussed field of membership/charter expansion, including low-income designation, serving the underserved, and community charters. Keith talked on `PACUA, What it Can Do For You,' which included a review of topics such as shared branching and check cashing.
