RENO, Nev.-NCUA Vice Chair JoAnn Johnson addressed about 50 attendees of the 21st Annual Meeting of the Institute of Certified Credit Union Executives on Sept. 27. Since the group had not previously met with Johnson, they had asked for an introduction. She followed that up by getting into the meat of the recently approved member business lending rule, which was trimmed back some from the proposal. By the time the vice chair began to address the issue of succession planning, "you should have seen the heads nodding," she said. Johnson also discussed the agency's prudent use of resources.
