COLUMBIA, Md.-The Maryland Credit Union League is hosting a National Endowment for Financial Education `Train the Trainers' session at its headquarters on Oct. 1. NEFE was created to provide money management skills to consumers and introduce financial planning. It covers the basics of insurance, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. Through NEFE's High School Financial Planning Program, young people learn the basics of financial management and develop proper habits and attitudes toward money.
