HAMPTON, Va. – Jean Yokum, who started as a teller with Langley FCU and rose through the ranks to become the credit union's president/CEO, recently celebrated her golden anniversary with Langley FCU. Yokum began her career with Langley in 1953. She was named to her current position in 1979. When she started at Langley, the credit union had 40,787 members and $76 million in assets. Langley is currently the sixth largest credit union in Virginia with almost 140,000 members, more than $920 million in assets and 12 branches.
