PLYMOUTH, Mich. – The Michigan Credit Union Marketing Alliance is taking the message that consumers will find better rates, lower fees and exceptional service at a credit union to the road. In celebration of Credit Union Week, starting in October, Michigan drivers will see over 125 billboards across the state’s highways with such messages as “Better Rates Than CUs? Don’t Bank On It” or “Better Service Than CUs? Don’t Bank On It.” The billboards are just part of a tiered marketing and advertising campaign that includes six new radio spots, lobby posters, statement stuffers and Web icons. According to Michigan CUMA Chairman Tom Rice, the statewide billboard campaign has been designed to reinforce the credit union brand message of choice.
