CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – What could be better after enjoying a minor league baseball game than driving away as the winner of a used car. Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union has recently received recognition for its sponsorship of the Chattanooga Lookouts' Annual Used Car Night by Used Car News, a national publication. TVFCU has sponsored the popular sold out community event for the past 11 years. Used Car Night takes place during a Chattanooga Lookouts' minor league baseball game where local auto dealers in the credit union's indirect program donate up to 10 used cars to be given away. Since the event's debut over 100 used vehicles have been given away. As baseball fans enter the park they register for a chance to win one of the used cars at each inning. According to TVFCU Business Development Manager Renee Coulson, the event provides TVFCU with an opportunity to boost community involvement while supporting their minor league baseball team. In addition, the credit union's logo is flashed on the scoreboard during the game and all of the participants benefit from significant television and radio coverage of the event.
