PORTLAND, Ore. – Corillian Corp. and Hipbone Inc. have agreed to provide what they say is the first fully integrated, live online customer interaction solution for the financial services industry. Corillian LiveService will allow online customers to interact in real time with service representatives through secure text chat, co-browsing and Internet call back. Corillian says the new service will make it the first provider of a regulatory-compliant Web collaboration service that it says will drive adoption of online bill payment and improve cross-channel sales and service. Corillian LiveService will combine the Corillian Voyager platform with Hipbone's Synetry suite of live customer service products. The companies say enabling live interaction improves cross-sell and up-sell ratios due to agents' expanded ability to assess customer needs, understand their banking behaviors and work in partnership with them online to complete a sign-up or submit an application. Corillian LiveService can be deployed on-site at a financial institution or hosted within Corillian's data center.
