ROME, N.Y. – AmeriCU is one of the latest credit unions to adopt Deluxe Financial Services' DeluxeSelect model to manage its check marketing and ordering process for the $369-million CU's more than 87,000 members. By using DeluxeSelect, members are now able to select check designs and order checks directly through Deluxe's call centers and the Internet. Prior to using DeluxeSelect, AmeriCU estimates it was only moving about 13% of members' check orders over the Internet or to call centers. Since it began using DeluxeSelect, it said that number has increased to about 50% of members' check orders. The credit union said member service reps can now spend more time focusing on other products and services AmeriCU offers.
