MOORPARK, Calif. – XP Systems has created a new professional services group to offer strategic and technical workshops to the 300 credit unions nationwide using its data processing solutions, the Fiserv subsidiary says. The new group also will offer on-site consulting and custom programming for the new XP2 in-house information management system, and will complement existing education, customer support and account management functions, the company says More than 140 sites are now running XP2, the company says. “With a new system, we recognize there’s a need for additional guidance at an enterprise-wide strategic level as well as a technical level,” says Steve Bernal, XP Systems’ director of professional services. The new professional services group will offer sessions at regional locations around the country and already has offered two workshop series – one on contact management and cross selling, the other on IBM DB2 database reporting.
