Mike Welch is 100% right in the comments he made in his April 30th column about answering bogus bank attacks ("Time to Give Banker Rhetoric Pithy Response.") I think credit unions are defensive because we originally were the underdog. We are not the top dog, but we are equal in many of the financial services sought by the public. That is what the banks fear will be realized by the public Richard Wagner Director Municipal Credit Union New York, N.Y.
