WASHINGTON-In order to be more in line with modern associational terminology, the American Bankers Association gave its executive titles a facelift last fall. Then-Executive Vice President Don Ogilvie was given the title of president and CEO, according to ABA Communications Director Charlotte Birch. Ed Yingling, who was formerly referred to as deputy executive vice president, is now called executive vice president. Additionally, ABA's Board officials are now known as chair, chair-elect, and vice chair.
