HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – Credit Union Affiliates of New Jersey-affiliated credit unions that have questions concerning regulatory affairs, government relations, strategic planning, education and professional training, shared branching, public relations, or operations can now get fast answers through the association’s new toll-free “helpline.” Designed to serve as a credit union’s one stop location for answers to questions, the CU Helpline will be open from 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. The Helpline will be manned by Scott Rekant, CUANJ’s in-staff Counsel, and Gary Weaver, a CUANJ consultant. Tom Shaughnessy, president/CEO of CUANJ, said the association promises it will answer credit unions’ questions within 24 hours “or find someone else who can.”
