BEAVERTON, Ore. – A major redesign of the Credit Union Association of Oregon's (CUAO) Web site was officially launched March 21. The site, at www.cuao.com, features links for both credit unions and for consumers and members. Among the links are ones for governmental affairs, education, communications and how to join a credit union. The site also includes ATM and credit union locators. "Our goal for the new Web site is that Oregon and southwest Washington credit unions, along with the general public, will utilize the Web site as a resource," said Gene Poitras, CUAO president. "We listened to what people were saying and redesigned our Web site to fit the needs of our credit unions. We are pleased with the new Web site, and know users will find it to be a vast improvement." The CUAO represents more than 100 credit unions and more than one million CU members.
