MADISON, Wis. – First there was SimCity, then SimIsle, SimZoo and more. So, why not SimCU? CUES is now offering just that. In conjunction with Decision Strategies International, the Credit Union Executives Society has introduced SimCU, which it calls the first scenario-based simulation software for credit unions. “SimCU provides credit unions with a realistic operating environment in which to make decisions for the future and see how those decisions play out without risk,” says Mary Cunningham, president/CEO of USA Federal Credit Union in San Diego and CUES chairman. The software is industry-specific and provides a mix of financial and non-financial decisions designed to help credit union board members, executives and staff plan more effectively and make better decisions. A free report on scenario planning is available at www.cues.org/services/dsi.htm. Pricing for SimCU is based on the number of employees at the CU.
