BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Fiserv, Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire Precision Computer Systems (PCS), a provider of bank processing solutions based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. PCS' annual revenues are approximately $25 million. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. "PCS has a successful product line and an extremely loyal customer base, which are two of the qualities we look for when evaluating acquisitions," said Leslie M. Muma, Fiserv's President and CEO. PCS employs 235 people and supports more than 730 clients ranging in size from de novo to multi-billion dollar. PCS will merge its operations with Information Technology, Inc. (ITI), a Fiserv business located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Fiserv is a big name in the credit union data processing space, having six DP subsidiaries serving CUs: USERS, SUMMIT Information Systems, XP Systems, AFTECH, CUSA Technologies, and GalaxyPlus.
