RALEIGH, N.C. – Thanks to State Employees' Credit Union, throughout the month of March citizens will once again learn just what programs their tax dollars support. For the second year, SECU has sponsored and kicked off the State Employees' "What's In It For You!" Image Campaign. Radio spots will feature actual workers' who provide various valuable state services in 10 agencies ranging from the Division of Water Quality and Division of Aging to the Emergency Management Division and the State Bureau of Investigation. "SECU began funding this Image Campaign to honor and recognize our State's dedicated workforce and bring awareness of the valuable programs and services made available through tax dollars," said SECU President/CEO Jim Blaine. "State employees are facing many difficulties associated with budget cuts and shortages, and it is with great satisfaction that we can be part of a campaign that emphasizes the value of work that continues despite tough times. Dedication and sacrifice are essential for state employees and they truly deserve our gratitude."
