ALEXANDRIA, Va. – After serving 30 years in the credit union movement, State Department Federal Credit Union President/CEO John C. Adkin has announced he will retire effective July 31, 2003. Under his leadership the credit union's assets grew from $100 million in 1984 to $634 million. "My career with SDFCU has been intensely rewarding," said Adkin.
