LAKE FOREST, Ill. – To help financial institutions increase non-interest income, reduce costs and enhance consumer satisfaction, Moebs $ervices will host The Pricing Institute March 17 through March 21 at the Newport Beach Marriott Suites. For the past 15years, The Pricing Institute offers a hands-on laboratory setting that emphasizes an understanding of the art and science of pricing, not just what to charge. The Pricing Institute is led by Mike Moebs and Ken Williams who each have over 30 years experience in financial services. Moebs is the author of Pricing Financial Services by Dow Jones and Williams is an expert on risk analysis, pricing and profitability. For more information regarding the symposium call (800) 237-3317 ext. 10. Moebs $ervices is also in the process of conducting its Expense Control Survey. All qualifying institutions can participate by logging onto www.moebs.com or calling (800) 237-3317. Surveys, which take approximately 45 minutes to complete, can be e-mailed, faxed or mailed to Moebs $ervices. Survey participants will receive a complimentary copy of the Expense Control Book of Numbers, which is a biannual 150-page report of 57 non-interest expenses categories, general financial information and non-dollar data. The deadline for submitting surveys is March 15. Moebs $ervices, of course, knows a thing or two about surveys, as it is the firm behind the Fed’s Annual Fee Survey.
