HARAHAN, La. – The Louisiana Credit Union League has promoted Connie Major to vice president of governmental/public affairs. Major is a 20-year veteran of the League. She is responsible for its Credit Union Legislative Action Committee activities and works closely with the League's retained lobbyists in Washington, D.C. and Baton Rouge. Major also supervises LCUL communications and has been instrumental in implementing a cooperative advertising program for Louisiana credit unions.
