THE WOODLANDS, Texas – US Employees Credit Union staffers who are volunteers at Montgomery County Search and Rescue including CEO Greg Storch; Data Processing Director Dan Waggoner; Accounting Clerk Mark Perry; and Charles Blake in collections were part of a recent Amber Alert search effort. The MoCSR was called in to help find teenager Zambra Daniela Villareal. "As a father of two I can appreciate the anguish having a child missing can bring," said Storch. "My family, and fellow employees believe the credit union philosophy of `people helping people' is not just about serving members, but applies to serving your community." Organized in 1984, when a group of concerned citizens aiding in the search of a missing child in Hockley, Texas, recognized a need for an organization to work with law enforcement in search and rescue, MoCSR now has about 150 volunteers and supporters. Though based in Montgomery County, Storch says the organization has worked with a number of other counties. Villareal was found unharmed.
