FLINT, Mich. – Several employees of SECURITY Federal Credit Union may soon be signing autographs since starring in the latest television advertising campaign. Two new television commercials airing on local television stations across the area, play up SECURITY FCU’s tagline as “The People Who Know.” Throughout both commercials, SECURITY employees answer consumers’ questions about various products and services. “Our staff takes great pride in their knowledge about our products, our credit union and our members. They receive extensive training on our products and services so they are prepared to answer members’ questions and educate them on what best meets their needs. This is truly unique among financial institutions and serves as the foundation of our credit union,” said Nancy Goodwin, marketing director for SECURITY FCU. In addition to the new television commercials, SECURITY is also debuting a new print advertising campaign that features a vulture and showcases the credit union’s commitment to helping members avoid unwanted ATM fees and surcharges. As an incentive the ad doubles as a coupon for the first order of free checks.
