The annual CUNA GAC is consistently rated by participants as the best national conference of its type. Yet, you wouldn’t even know it was taking place if you only read NAFCU publications. NAFCU’s Annual Conference and Exhibition, held at various locations every July, is widely acclaimed as the largest national CU convention. Yet, you would never know it if you only read CUNA publications. With consistently strong program lineups, these two important national CU meetings generate a tremendous amount of news. Yet the two main credit union trade groups have a long tradition of pretending the other’s event doesn’t exist, at least as far as news coverage goes in their own stable of publications.
