SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. – As part of its plan to check the pulse of online education programming, Counter Intelligence Associates has kicked off a new Webcast Center. The center is a self-contained Web site that allows for easy access to CIA's many live video-based Webcast programs. According to Tom Glatt Jr., viewer's surveyed were interested "in three things: affordability, good programming, and help when and if they need it." In addition to the enhanced support information CIA also revised the set of Web pages viewers see when watching a program by bringing the viewer question function directly to the video window. In 2002, CIA formally launched CIA Studios. CIA Studios serves as the Webcast production arm of CIA, functioning to produce and deliver CIA educational programs, and to provide full-service production services to any other organization interested in Webcasting their own proprietary programming.
