RALEIGH, N.C. – Coastal Federal Credit Union is expanding its operations by breaking ground on another new high-tech branch. The 6,100 square-foot branch in Cary will be built by Centurion Construction Company and is expected to be up and running by the end of third quarter 2003 Coastal FCU is hoping the interactive, self-service cyber branch will help take members into the future with high-tech teller machines and remote self-service tellers. This will be the third Coastal FCU branch in Cary. Coastal FCU currently has 11 branches throughout the Raleigh/Durham and Charlotte areas. In addition, the credit union will be opening two new branches in Durham this month. It has recently broken ground on two others in and around the Raleigh area.
