ONTARIO, Calif. – The CO-OP Network has developed a tool credit unions can use to protect their cardholders' debit cards from various types of fraud, the Network announced. Developed by Fair, Isaac and Company Inc., the Falcon Fraud Management System compares a debit cardholders' use of their card against both a history of the prior debit card usage and patterns of card usage that could represent fraudulent activity. The Network will charge credit unions a relatively small installation fee for the program and then assess a variable charge based on the institution's use of the program.
