TARRANT CITY, Ala.-NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar and House Financial Institutions Subcommittee Chairman Spencer Bachus, R-Ala., (behind Dollar) toured an Alabama credit union together January 30. Dollar's office noted that the visit to $5.4 million People's First Federal Credit Union in Tarrant City, Alabama, highlighted the significant role credit unions play in the financial marketplace. Chairman Dollar also hosted an Open Forum for Alabama credit union volunteers, executives, and staff in Birmingham, to discuss regulatory topics and listen to credit union concerns, while down there.
