OLYMPIA, Wash. – Linda Jekel has been appointed director of Washington State's Division of Credit Unions. Her official start date in her new position was Dec. 2, 2002. Jekel replaces Parker Cann who resigned from the position in May 2002 to become executive vice president of Arrowhead CU. Prior to her appointment, Jekel had been the Division's program manager since 1995 and was in charge of managing the examination and supervision program.
