ROCHESTER, N.Y.-NCUA Board Member JoAnn Johnson visited Rochester-area credit unions last Wednesday to see how they are serving their members and communities. The board member visited four credit unions of various sizes and charters and attended a reception. At deadline, Johnson planned to address a dinner meeting hosted by the Rochester District of Credit Unions. She planned to discuss NCUA's role in providing programs and resources for small credit unions, her continued work with the member business loan rule, and the field of membership proposal. The Rochester district also invited the Albany, Buffalo, Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, and Syracuse district credit unions to attend the meeting.
