INDIANAPOLIS -Credit Union Centers of Indiana LLC and Credit Union Centers of Northwest Indiana Inc. have created a single network with 28 outlets and service centers, handling more than 500,000 transactions per in Indiana. Forty-six Indiana credit unions with 1 million members participate in the new network. The new network, which came into being Jan. 1, will use the Credit Union Centers of Indiana name. CUCI plans to add three new stand-alone locations and 12 new outlets in the state during 2002. "The two groups really had the same focus, as far as goals, and the merger is another way the cooperative effort works for the benefit of all," said Karol Griffin, president of CUCI and senior vice president of, Teachers CU of South Bend.
