ST. LOUIS – For the second time last year Missouri Corporate Credit Union declared bonus dividend payments to its member credit unions. Paid-in Capital (PIC) investors will earn a 3.25% dividend for Fourth Quarter 2002 (up from 2.35% for the Third Quarter). In order to pay 3.25% for the Fourth Quarter, the December accrual rate is 5.53%. In addition, all credit unions that own Membership Shares in MCCU will receive a dividend of 2.50% for the month of December 2002 (up from 2.00% in November). This new development comes on the heels of recent news that the Board had declared a $300,000 year-end bonus dividend payable to all "Regular" member credit unions. According to Missouri Corporate President/CEO Dennis J. DeGroodt, the special dividend payments resulted from successes achieved in managing investments in a turbulent market – as well as Missouri Corporate's consistent financial performance.
