SAFE Credit Union, Sacramento, Calif. announces the unfortunate passing of Harold William Price. A 40-year board member and past CUNA vice president, Price passed away at the age of 87. Price dedicated more than 25 years as a volunteer and activist for the California Credit Union League, representing California’s interests before state legislators and policy makers. In the interest of strengthening California credit unions’ investment portfolios, he also served 10 years on the Board of Western Corporate Federal Credit Union (WesCorp), two of those years as chairman. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Helen; son Michael; daughters Vonnie and Sandra; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
