HAWTHORNE, Calif. – The headquarters of the $229 million FAA First Federal Credit Union recently played a role in the hit television program CSI Miami after the credit union allowed the program to film some of its episodes in the 35,000 square-foot space. The building has already been recognized by several architectural journals for its unique, sweeping facade and spacious interior and caught the eye of location scouts looking for an unusual site for the show's main headquarters, the credit union said. The credit union's atrium interior provided the scene for other scenes as well, the credit union said, while outside, the building's front steps and cul-de-sac were complemented with matching SUVs and Miami Dade County police signage. Eileen Rivera, credit union president and CEO said the institution was excited by the opportunity to host the filming. "This is a tremendous opportunity to support our local entertainment industry, and to showcase the headquarters we all worked so hard to build," she said. "We look forward to working with CSI Miami again in the future."
