Affinity Federal Credit Union, Bedminster, N.J., has celebrated the grand opening of its latest branch. Festivities kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception. Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Kingston, N.Y., has selected design/build firm DEI, Inc., to build its latest branch. Consisting of approximately 4,500 square-feet with two drive-thru lanes and one ATM lane, the new branch will feature a kid’s area and tech center. In addition, pneumatic tubes will be available at the Personal Financial Service Representatives desks and a 24-hour lobby will include an ATM and a Remote Teller Station to extend service to members past regular business hours. Heritage Credit Union, Madison, Wis., has started construction on a new branch scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2003. HCU has contracted with Mudrovich architects to design the new branch and the La Macchia Group as General Contractor. The building will feature approximately 3,680 square-feet of expanded space and will feature three drive-up lanes, one of which will be configured for oversized vehicles and a parking lot with 33 stalls. In addition, the new branch will be equipped with, four private offices, a conference room, three teller windows, a sit-down reception area, a self-service coin counter, a spacious lobby, as well as extended office hours. Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union, Valley Stream, N.Y., has held the grand opening of its new headquarters. Designed by KDA Holdings, the three-story, 51,000 square-foot facility will house all loan servicing, human resources, consumer lending and accounting. The retail area features the remote teller system.
