MANASSAS, Va. – Who says Halloween is just for ghouls and goblins? Apparently Santa Claus was so impressed by the good deeds of SYNERGY ONE Federal Credit Union employees that he couldn't wait for Christmas and gathered his reindeer and elves together to pay them a special visit on Halloween. According to Santa, a letter from the credit union's board of directors that mentioned so many successes including a 15% increase in capital; an ROA of 1.30; new mortgage CUSO Heltzel-SYNERGY ONE Mortgage Company's originating $100 million in mortgage loans; and the launch of a 9.9% VISA platinum card inspired him to drop off their presents a little early. In a 20-year first for staffers here, Santa gave everyone a paid day-off on November 29th, the day after Thanksgiving.
