Central Florida Educators' Federal Credit Union, Orlando, Information Technologies Manager Marshall Huggins has been named Manager of the Quarter. Recipients selected for this honor are cited for outstanding performance, teamwork and service to the credit union and its members. EWEB Employees Federal Credit Union, Eugene, Ore., board director Mark Oberle has been named Volunteer of the Year by the Willamette Chapter of Credit Unions. Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union, Bremerton, Wash., has named Lynne Bowman Employee of the Quarter. Bowman was recognized for her team spirit and willingness to help. Steel Works Credit Union, Weirton, Va., Executive Secretary Linda Cattrell has been presented the Chapter Leadership Award. As secretary/treasurer of the Weirton-Wellsburg Chapter, Cattrell was honored for her contributions to the success of the chapter. In addition, SWCU staffer Rachelle Luzer has been named Young Careerist by the Weirton Business and Professional Women's Club. The contest is held annually for young women to talk about their career achievements and women's issues. Fiscal Credit Union, Glendale, Calif., has honored its partner-employers and their staff who act as credit union ambassadors and help FCU in communicating benefits to employees. The following awards were presented for outstanding participation: Tina M. Young, Ambassador of the Year; Cheri Parker and Christine Thompson, Outstanding Professionalism Award: Los Angeles County Treasurer and Tax Collector Outstanding Communications Award; and L.A. Care Health Plan, 2002 Employer of the Year Award. Capital Communications Federal Credit Union, Albany, N.Y., has awarded Financial Services Associate/Operational Support Associate Corine Milby the Magnificent 7 award. The award is presented to an employee demonstrating extraordinary courage, thinking trustworthiness, clarity, initiative, service and vision. WEST AIRCOMM Federal Credit Union, Beaver, Pa., has been named one of the top 100 credit unions in the nation for electronic services in its asset range of under $100 million by the GEM Publishing Company. The credit union was awarded first place "For Excellence in Pennsylvania CU Websites". Carolina Collegiate Federal Credit Union, Columbia, S.C., has won the Hope Worldwide Award by Hope Worldwide, a non-profit organization that serves the sick, hungry, homeless and elderly. The award is presented to recognize the commitment of CCFCU staff to make a difference in the world.
